Dr. Bresnahan is a lifelong South Hadley resident who has called the community home since the age of two. After graduating from South Hadley High School in 2010, he went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from UMass Amherst in 2020. He completed his veterinary degree at University College Dublin in 2024.

With a lifelong love for animals—especially dogs—Dr. Bresnahan is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care. His clinical interests include surgery and diagnostic imaging.

At home, he and his wife of 13 years are preparing to welcome their first child in August. Their family also includes two beloved dogs: Tinker, a 12-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd, and Eve, a 7-year-old Black Lab.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Bresnahan enjoys spending time outdoors. You might find him golfing at local courses, kayaking or fishing nearby, hiking the area's many trails with his dogs, or enjoying a day at the beach.
